Love is in the air at The Palace Gardens! Residents Nancy and Charles Pender recently celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary and the assisted living community wanted to make it special, especially since family and friends were unable to attend due to social distancing precautions.

The Palace Renaissance and Royale residents, families and team members shared holiday wishes with a “Caravan of Love” for Mother’s Day. An energized family parade winding through the community was a wonderful tribute to celebrate moms and thank the staff for the wonderful care they provide to their loved ones.

The “show must go on,” and this holds true at The Palace Coral Gables, even during the coronavirus pandemic.

Chefs at The Palace, a senior living community, grilled up a Middle Eastern feast and delivered 50 box lunches with shish kabobs, Israeli chopped salad, homemade hummus and a basmati rice and grilled vegetable dish called maqluba, which means “upside down,” to the Broward Sheriff’s Office and Fire Department in Weston

Vintage wedding photos, dating back to the 1940s are bringing back fond memories for residents and families of The Palace Renaissance, an assisted living community.

Elizabeth Martinez and Stefanie Fisher, members of The Palace’s sales team, had no idea their fate as best friends had been sealed over 90 years ago on the island nation of Cuba, some 300-plus miles away from where they eventually would meet in Miami.

Residents at The Palace at Weston are treated like royalty. The five-star senior living community features spacious, designer-appointed apartments and luxury resort stle amenities along with gourmet dining experiences and entertainment options that rival any cruise ship.

The Palace Gardens recently hosted an Alzheimer’s Awareness Festival, offering people in the Homestead area an opportunity to support the fight against Alzheimer’s disease closer to home.
